1 Cup Cottage Cheese

1/4 Cup Water

1 TBSP Butter

2 1/2- 2 3/4 cups flour, divided

1 Envelope or TBSP Active Dry Yeast

2 TBSP Sugar

3 TBSP Dried Onion Flakes

3 TSP Dill (more if fresh)

1 TSP Salt

1/4 TSP Baking Soda

1 Egg, Beaten

Mix cottage cheese and water in a small saucepan.? Add butter, and heat on medium until mixture reaches 125*.? In separate bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups of flour, yeast, sugar, dill, onion, salt and baking soda and mix.? Add in the warmed cottage cheese mixture and egg and mix well.? Add 1 cup of the remaining flour.

Work the dough on a floured surface until smooth and elastic and add the remaining flour if needed.? Cover and let rest for 15 min.? Shape into a ball and place on an oiled baking tray and cover with plastic wrap.? Let rise until the dough has doubled.? Uncover and bake for 45 minutes in a 350* oven.? If you prefer a normal shaped loaf, this mixture can be prepared in a bread pan as well.? Simply let rise in the bread pan and bake at same temperature.

Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time sneaking its way onto your PS Vita ...

Nearly a year after it?s announcement at E3 2011, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time has been all the rage for stauch PlayStation supporters across the world. Thieves in Time struck many fans by surprise during Sony?s press conference, and til this day, it continues to amaze fans of the beloved Racoon.

Though, fans should be a little more excited, more specifically Vita owners. Sanzaru Games has announced that Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time will not only be releasing on Sony?s PlayStation 3, but on the PlayStation Vita as well.?The announcement came to us in trailer form, because nothing confirms things better than a video. Check it out below and tell us what you think.

The game will take full advantage of the PlayStation Vita?s capabilities and functionalities, including six-axis controls, the dual analog sticks, and cross platform saves that will allow players to play Thieves in Time on the PlayStation 3, and transfer their data for on-the-go gaming onto their Vita (and vice versa). Which begs the question: Will buying one copy of the game grant us access to the other? Or will we have to purchase them separately?

Hopefully I?ll only have to make one purchase, and not two. Because personally, I?m excited to have this on the Vita. If Sony continues to pump console-esque games like this, my PlayStation Vita will remain alive and well.

Police move against new protest in Moscow

MOSCOW (AP) ? Russian police arrested about 20 protesters on Wednesday night at a central Moscow square where demonstrators had moved after police uprooted them from a camp, the latest move in a broadening crackdown on the forces opposing President Vladimir Putin.

The detentions at Kudrinskaya Square come as the opposition tries to maintain momentum following a series of massive protests over the winter.

Several hundred demonstrators had gathered at the square outside one of the city's iconic Stalinist Gothic skyscrapers after an early morning police raid on activists who had set up a camp in a park in the center of Chistoprudny Boulevard.

Video from the square streamed by Ekho Moskvy radio's website Wednesday night showed police forcing demonstrators into buses while other protesters yelled angrily. Hundreds of demonstrators remained on the square after the arrests

Police said about 20 people were detained. The state news agency RIA Novosti cited police as saying the detentions began when police were investigating food deliveries to the demonstrators and their attempt to set up a field kitchen. News reports also said prominent opposition figure Ilya Yashin was among those detained.

As they try to intimidate Putin's opponents, authorities have put leading protest organizers behind bars, threatened others with reprisals and proposed legislation introducing a 300-fold increase in the fine for taking part in unsanctioned rallies.

Some opposition leaders hope that the tough measures will foment anger and fuel bigger rallies. But others fear the repression will blunt the protest movement by scaring away many of the mostly middle-class protesters who turned out in the tens of thousands for peaceful demonstrations this winter.

A demonstration of at least 20,000 a day before Putin's May 7 inauguration turned into a fierce battle with police as some of the protest participants tried to march on the Kremlin. Scores were injured in clashes between stone- and bottle-throwing demonstrators and police who fought back with truncheons and tear gas. In the next few days police chased the opposition around city, rounding up hundreds on the streets and in cafes.

Then the crackdown eased, allowing the opposition to stage a camp on tree-lined Chistoprudny Boulevard, one of the most iconic and attractive places in central Moscow.

The organizers refrained from putting out political posters and chanting slogans so that the round-the-clock camp technically wouldn't count as an unsanctioned protest. The gathering daily attracted up to a few thousand during daytime, but attendance would drop to just a few dozen overnight.

The authorities let the camp go for a week, but lost patience after a court on Tuesday supported a lawsuit by local residents who claimed that the vigil was creating a mess. Police dispersed the camp early Wednesday and activists moved to Kudrinskaya Square, which fronts on the Garden Ring, one of the city's busiest thoroughfares.

Over the weekend, authorities also let a group of popular writers lead several thousand on a march across downtown Moscow unimpeded, and several top painters and other members of the capital's arts scene plan to stage a similar demonstration this week.

While authorities seem to show at least some tolerance to opposition action if the organizers fastidiously obey the law, they clearly aim to scare those in the opposition movement who appear eager to cross the barriers.

Popular blogger and anti-corruption lawyer Alexei Navalny and Left Front leader Sergei Udaltsov, the two leading organizers of the winter wave of protests, were sentenced to 15 days in jail for disobeying police following the May 6 rally that ended in clashes. Some Russian media reports speculated that they could face a longer prison term if accused of staging the violence.

The lawmakers who played a key role in protests, Ilya Ponomarev, Gennady Gudkov and Dmitry Gudkov, all members of the socialist Just Russia faction, have faced increasing pressure from the Kremlin party dominating the parliament.

On Tuesday, several members of the Kremlin party called for stripping the three of the immunity from prosecution they enjoyed as members of parliament.

"Go ahead, arrest deputies, put us behind bars, that will only speed up your demise," Gennady Gudkov, a KGB veteran turned fierce Putin critic, said during debates in the lower house. "Instead of political reforms, they want to only rely on force, but violence foments violence."

His son, Dmitry, tweeted Wednesday that the Kremlin party apparently is preparing to initiate a bill that would introduce a five-year prison term for organizers of the rallies that end in violence.

As part of the official pressure on the Gudkovs, a private security agency they own was targeted by authorities, who found some violations and ordered it stripped it of its arms.

In another move to tame the opposition, Putin's loyalists are also working on legislation that would raise the level of fines from the current maximum 5,000 rubles ($166) to 1,500,000 rubles ($50,000).

The rising official pressure comes as the opposition is desperately trying to maintain momentum amid the feelings of gloom that followed Putin's inauguration.

Some activists believe massive rallies are essential for shaking Putin's power, but others argue that the opposition must focus instead on grassroots activism and municipal elections, hoping they would help gradually make Russia a more open and pluralistic society.

Grigory Yavlinsky, the leader of the liberal Yabloko party, has warned the protest leaders against provoking police.

"If the organizers believe that the riot police cruelty will multiply the number of people eager to fight them, it's a wrong calculation," he wrote on his blog. "People will simply stop attending rallies and marches if blood is shed there, if they are beaten."

If thrown away or flushed down a toilet, however, antibiotics, hormones and other drugs can get into lakes, rivers and other water supplies, where they can affect humans and animals. Some places in the U.S. have recently started take-back programs, in which pharmacies collect unneeded drugs and incinerate them with other medical waste, but this burning and transportation produces greenhouse gases and other pollution. The authors wanted to assess the different disposal methods to see which might make the most sense for U.S. households.

Their evaluation shows that, on balance, trash disposal may be the best option in the U.S. Flushing unwanted drugs puts more drug compounds into the environment. Incineration of drugs taken back to a pharmacy could significantly reduce releases to the environment, but the authors note that take-back programs often have limited participation and could have major financial costs. A national program could cost $2 billion each year. A national participation rate of 50 percent in a take-back program, considered to be a high level of participation, would reduce releases of drugs by 93 percent, which is only five percent more than 100 percent participation in trash disposal. "Furthermore, since 60 percent of individuals in the U.S. already trash their unused pharmaceuticals, trash disposal is likely to accomplish faster removal of unused pharmaceuticals from households due to higher participation rates and greater convenience," the authors say.

Music Review: Delta Moon - Black Cat Oil - seattlepi.com

Delta Moon is a very popular band around metro Atlanta, which is where I live. Listening to Black Cat Oil will quickly make clear how they have gained such a loyal and growing following.

All of the songs on this CD are originals, except for an excellent cover of Fred McDowell's "Write Me a Few of Your Lines." The rest of the songs were written by founding member Tom Gray, with assistance from fellow founding member Mark Johnson on "Black Cat Oil," "Wishbone," "Black Coffee," and "Jukin'."

With a solid rhythm section providing a pounding beat and Tom Gray's slightly ragged-sounding vocals, Black Cat Oil has a great rootsy, bluesy rock sound from the very first song, "Down and Dirty." The CD was recorded at Atlanta's Bakos Amp Works studio with a basic drum setup, an upright bass and only three amps, according to the press release. They then used vintage amps and equipment from the '50s and '60s to get that authentic, swampy sound.

Every song on this CD is excellent. "Blues in a Bottle," Tom Gray says, came to him in a dream. In the press release, he explains that he dreamed that a guitarist was trying to decide the best way to play a song called "Blues in a Bottle." He wished he had come up with that title, "Then I awoke and discovered that I had." It's a great blues-rock tune, no matter how he came to write it.

"Walk Out in the River," is a song about sorrow and hope. It contains one of my favorite images: "There's a little girl down by the swimming pool side/Blowing bubbles with angels trapped inside/When the bubbles pop, the angels go free/ And they fly away to heaven cross the galaxy."

The song was inspired by Gray's bout with cancer. He is okay now, but a friend who also had cancer did not make it. He spun that experience into an incredibly moving song.

"Black Cat Oil" is pure Americana, celebrating, as many blues songs before it, the appeal of voodoo and its easy promises. If things don't go right with your Black Cat Oil, you just need to use a little more. "Wishbone" and "Black Coffee" are straight blues songs with some really tasty dual slide guitar work from Johnson and Gray.

My favorite song on the CD is "Neon Jesus," a slow, melodic walk on the wild side of your typical southern city, lighted both physically and emotionally by a neon Jesus on the top of a building. This song resonates with me on so many levels and represents the best qualities of Southern roots music with a contemporary touch.

"Jukin'" lightens the mood with a song in praise of finding those little out-of-the-way clubs and just having a mighty good time. "Sunshine" is a song about maybe not getting what you want, but getting what you need, with a very catchy, hook-filled musical accompaniment.

The last original song on the CD before the great McDowell tune mentioned earlier is "Applejack," which again features some fantastic guitar work and a joyful tribute to applejack and watermelon wine.

Overall, this CD is about hope and the things that get us through and keep us going. While it is Southern to its core, its message is universal and will touch people wherever they are, giving them a very enjoyable listening experience as well.

Pick up Black Cat Oil and get acquainted with Delta Moon. You'll be glad you did.
