Many women are stay at home moms and are looking for a business that will allow them to stay home with the kids. We are going to discuss some of those business opportunities is this article and some of the pro's and con's.

Regardless of what kind of business you decide to start they all require hard work to make it successful. You don't have to have a college education but you must be willing to learn the in's and out's of the business you have chosen. The following are just a few businesses and we won't go into great detail but you can do some research later if any sound good to you.

eBay - Before you start an eBay business I would suggest you get a couple of books on the subject. There are several good books out there plus eBay itself has a good tutorial on their website. The investment is minimal to start an eBay business but it will take a lot of hard work on your part. Rules are different from state to state so you will need to check into that. Also, you will need to set up payment options. Do your research to see if eBay would be something you would like to do.

Telephone Answering Service - This is a good business to run from home. The start up costs are low but you will need to make sure you have a phone line and a line for each client. It could run you up to $200 a month but you would be charging anywhere from $50 to $60 a month just to answer calls. You would charge more for extra's such as paging.

Personal Concierge Service - Before starting this business you need to decide what kind of service's you are willing to provide. Do you want to run errands for the elderly, do shopping, provide transportation, house cleaning, etc? You need to make sure you have reliable transportation. Start up costs are minimal unless you have to go out and buy a vehicle. Otherwise, normal wear and tear on your car and gasoline are your only costs.

Event Planner - The start up costs are minimal but you will need a phone, computer, business cards, and website. You can actually get a college degree as an event planner but the majority don't have one but you can obtain a certification. Event planning has become very successful and you can easily reach a six figure income within three years.

There are hundreds of business opportunities for women out there. The best thing to do is to research online until you find something you would be interested in. They all require hard work but if you really want a home business you will find one right for you.

2011 Estoril MotoGP Race Result: Tight Duel For Win Decided With Four Laps To Go

Results and summary of the MotoGP race at Estoril:

Dani Pedrosa has won the 2011 Portuguese MotoGP Grand Prix, seizing the lead in the final laps from Jorge Lorenzo, and preventing the Yamaha man from taking his forth victory in a row.

It was Lorenzo who grabbed the lead going into turn 1, holding off Pedrosa from pole, and taking charge of the race from the off. Behind the Spanish pairing, chaos ensued, with Marco Simoncelli and Casey Stoner nearly colliding in the first corner, Hector Barbera crashing a couple of corners later, and then Simoncelli hitting the dirt in turn 4. As the riders crossed the finish line for the first time, it was Lorenzo leading Pedrosa, with a tiny gap to Stoner, while Valentino Rossi had moved Andrea Dovizioso aside to follow in 4th.

That situation remained more or less stable for most of the race, with Lorenzo leading, but unable to shake the pesky Pedrosa from his tail, while Stoner was a couple of tenths off the pace of the leaders, and unable to make up the gap to join them. A tweaked muscle in his back later in the race saw the gap grow considerably, the victory now down to the two Spaniards at the front.

Lorenzo appeared to have the situation fully under control, holding off Pedrosa every lap as he tried to outbrake the Yamaha into Turn 1. That tactic was successful for 24 laps, but on the 25th, Pedrosa finally got past. Once he had taken the lead, Pedrosa left Lorenzo for dead, taking both a moral and a physical victory, winning the race but also proving to himself that his shoulder surgery had been a success. Lorenzo ended 2nd, with no way of stopping Pedrosa, and Stoner took 3rd a way behind the two Spaniards.

Valentino Rossi looked like clinching 4th, an outstanding result from the perspective of the Ducati's development, but the Italian had Andrea Dovizioso behind him. The Repsol Honda rider looked unable to attack Rossi, until the very last meters of the race. Dovizioso got better drive out of the final corner, and went on to snatch 4th ahead of Rossi less than a hundred meters from the finish line. Colin Edwards finished a lonely 6th, while Hiroshi Aoyama and Cal Crutchlow fought it out for 7th, the Japanese rider coming out on top.

Denver couple Patrick Riley and Alaina Moore sold most of their possessions, bought a sailboat and spent much of the next year traversing the Atlantic Ocean. Though their story sounds as though it was plucked from one of our winter fantasies, the husband-and-wife duo had been carefully planning the voyage ever since they met in college. But what they didn't foresee was that the trip would rekindle their love of music and fuel their careers in the indie-rock band Tennis.

Both Riley and Moore had been musicians in various unsuccessful bands throughout the years, but had since stowed away their instruments in dusty closets. As their seven-month voyage carried them 2,500 miles across the Atlantic, they found joy in the simplicity of their unregulated lifestyle. "I think we had both put our music equipment away pretty much forever, thinking we would never approach playing music as a lifestyle again until we went sailing," says Riley.

'Spiderman' Star Who Plummeted 35 Feet Ready to Return to Show

Christopher Tierney is ready to to return to Spider-Man on Broadway just four months after he plummeted more than 35 feet in a stunt gone wrong.

"His back's fine. They've taken the bolts and the nuts and everything out," producer Michael Cohl tells the New York Post of the actor, who suffered a fractured skull, a fractured shoulder blade, four broken ribs and three broken vertebrae when he fell on Dec. 20.

The $65 million show (the most expensive in Broadway's history) is on hiatus as its script and music problems are fixed.

It's slated to open again on June 14.

Eldard Packs On The Pounds To Play Rotund Roadie

Black Hawk Down star Ron Eldard packed on 20 pounds (nine kilograms) in just two weeks to play a roadie in his latest movie.

The film star packed on a total of 38 pounds (17 kilograms) while making Roadie - and he was amazed how easy it was to get fat.

He tells WENN, "I would eat late at night; every night I would have many slices of pizza, milkshakes, candy, french fries and fried food.

"I ate well during the day so I wouldn't fall asleep at work. I was so uncomfortable. I was sweaty but it was great for the role. Every day I would go to craft service and load up bowls of candy and cookies."

Eldard is now losing the weight, so he can portray a washed-up rocker in a new film based on his own screenplay.

He adds, "I'm actually writing a script about a rock star that I hope to star in and direct. It's about a guy who was a star and the business has changed so and he has a major substance abuse problem. It's a road trip movie. It's his struggle to come to terms with what is going on in his life."

The Late Pope John Paul II To Be One Step Closer To Sainthood In Beatification Ceremony

Thousands have gathered in Rome in preparation for the beatification of the late Pope John Paul II on Sunday.

The process usually takes centuries, however John Paul's successor, Pope Benedict, fast-tracked the beatification just six years after his death.

Before Sunday's mass, the coffin of John Paul was exhumed and will be placed before the main altar for viewing. After the ceremony, he will be known as "the Blessed John Paul II" and will be one step closer to sainthood.

The movement doesn't come without protests as many believe the former pope helped to cover up the sexual abuse claims made against the Catholic Church.

Others argue that his beatification simply symbolizes the approval of a popular pope who helped bring down Communism.

Andrea Riccardi, the founder of the Community of Sant?Egidio, a liberal Catholic group and a biographer of John Paul testified in favor of his beatification:

"This beatification is different because this pope is different. He?s a man with a role in history, not just in church history. The seal of sainthood doesn?t close the debate on history. In a certain sense, for many Catholics he?s already a saint, even without beatification and, let?s be honest, even without a miracle."

Whether or not anyone approves the beatification, it still is history in the making and will be a reason to celebrate his life and the Church.
